Federation of European Ergonomics Societies
The Federation of European Ergonomics Societies (FEES) is the European federation of national ergonomics and human factors societies. Its mission is to enhance the recognition and application of ergonomics across Europe and to contribute to economic development, quality of life, occupational safety and health, and social progress.
FEES promotes human-centred work design and supports the development of safer, healthier, more inclusive and more sustainable workplaces. Through its member societies and professional network, FEES brings together researchers, practitioners and experts in ergonomics and human factors from several European countries.
FEES has a long-standing commitment to European initiatives that improve working conditions. It has supported previous EU-OSHA Healthy Workplaces Campaigns, including activities related to risk prevention, musculoskeletal disorders, digitalisation of work and safe and healthy work in the digital age.

Bernard MICHEZ
PRESIDENT
The prevention of psychosocial risks is a central issue for the future of work. FEES joins this campaign because ergonomics and human factors offer practical, scientific approaches to designing healthier work systems. Mental health at work cannot be separated from workload, autonomy, participation, leadership, communication, work organisation and the physical and digital work environment. FEES will support the campaign by mobilising its European network, disseminating campaign messages, sharing good practices and promoting human-centred approaches that help organisations create safer, healthier and more inclusive workplaces.
